It’s been announced that the popular show Boy Meets World (1993-2000) will be getting a “sequel series” titled Girl Meets World. The new series by creator Ben Savage is set to debut on the Disney Channel in 2014. Savage is keeping hush-hush on the details, but we do know this so far:
– The series will focus on Riley, Topanga and Cory’s 13 year-old daughter and her “edgy” best friend Maya (who will be like Shawn was).
– Riley will have a 14 year-old brother named Elliot.
– Cory is a history teacher! (a.k.a. the new Mr. Feeny)
