Last year, after seeing David Wolk’s Charm Ape Exhibit, I was inspired to create the “Kingdom Mask” series (see Art of 2013) – a series of human bodies/forms with animal heads (“masks”).  I now present to you, the newest addition to the series, titled Lion.  Inspired in part by the “Charm Ape” (baboon) I created last year, and in part by the song/sequence “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” featuring Simba from The Lion King, I let my imagination soar.  Here is:
